GOD HAS A PLAN

Most Christians agree that God has a plan for humans.  But the word “plan” means different things to different people.

Some say the “plan” has God making all the important decisions for each person’s life.  That means humans do not always have free will to do what they want and can do.  God directly controls their lives, and everything that God does in a human’s life will ultimately have a “good purpose.”  According to this version of “plan,” whether you achieve heaven or hell is decided by God, and you have no choice in the matter.

Other Christians argue that humans have free will and that God does not “mess around” in their lives.  (Special cases excluded.)  They suggest that life is a test of whether a human uses their free will to submit to God’s will, behaves accordingly and gains heaven.  Or the human does not submit to God’s will and gains hell.
